- UrbanSurf4kids in partnership with Sidelines Club recently sent 3 volunteers to Port Au Prince, Haiti for 4 days (April 26-29th). The group handed out basketballs,soccer balls,soccer shins guards, jump ropes, frisbees, girls toys, playing cards, and much needed medical supplies to God's Littlest Angels The group was housed at the orphanage and also help unload relief supplies that will be delivered to local families. The trip was so inspiring to the volunteers that we are planning a visit in November. Nick Elisseos sums it up best "WOW, an experience unforgettable and can't wait to go back!"

- UrbanSurf4kids hosted the first surf camp for San Pasqual Academy on April 3rd 2010. We had 10 teenager in attendance, the afternoon consisted of lunch, surf lessons, and a great time! This was a rewarding afternoon. UrbanSurf4kids director Wesley Stewart "To see the excitement from the kids is what it's all about, can't wait until the next one in May!"

- UrbanSurf4kids kicked off it's canned food drive by going door to door! Our recent canned food drive was a huge success, we collected over 250 canned foods which where then delivered to Door of Faith Orphanage in La Mision,Baja on March 27th 2010.

- UrbanSurf4kids is excited to announce a new monthly surf program for San Pasqual Academy (San Pasqual Academy is a first-in-the-nation residential education campus designed specifically for foster teens. The Academy is located in Escondido, CA and provides foster teens with a stable, caring home, a quality, individualized education, and the skills needed for independent living.) Our first surf class will be April 3rd. We will be providing this ongoing once a month. We are looking forward to difference that will be made through the community services projects they will get behind!


- Career Event
UrbanSurf4kids also announces a new program offered to any youths that sign up for our programs. Once every three months we will be hosting a career event, where we will provide a luncheon with speakers who will offer insight regarding their careers and background. Our hopes is to encourage the kids in understanding the importance of planning,education,and directions for achieving their dreams.
