New Years Volunteer trip Baja Mexico Dec 30th Jan 2nd Start your New Year right. Join UrbanSurf4kids on our volunteer trip! We will providing paddle boarding/surfing for the orphanage. April 6th 2011 UrbanSurf4kids with volunteer Steve Smith provided a scuba diving class for 12 children @ Purple Palace Orphanage in La PLayas Tijuana. The kids where wide eyed and had the time of their lives! Enjoy the video! We are always looking for volunteers who enjoy water based activities.

Tomatoes Project: Planting tomatoes with the kids

As part of our health and fitness projects, we had the children of Door of Faith orphanage in La Mision Baja built and plant tomoatoes! It was great to help explain the process of how the plants grow and help understand little aspects of gardening. The childrens really enjoyed it!

Summer Surf Camp Dofo

UrbanSurf4kids Summer Surf Camp @ Door of Faith Orphanage in La Mision,Baja. Two days of surfing and serving! What a great time! We brought food for two meals and prepared it (over 100 people per meal,an entire new perspective on cooking)! Thanks to all who really made this a trip of a lifetime not only for the kids, but also the volunteers!

Haiti Relief Trip

UrbanSurf4kids in partnership with Sidelines Club recently sent 3 volunteers to Port Au Prince, Haiti for 4 days (April 26-29th). The group handed out basketballs,soccer balls,soccer shins guards, jump ropes, frisbees, girls toys, playing cards, and much needed medical supplies to God’s Littlest Angels The group was housed at the orphanage and also help unload relief supplies that will be delivered to local families. The trip was so inspiring

First Surf Camp for San Pasqual Academy

- UrbanSurf4kids hosted the first surf camp for San Pasqual Academy on April 3rd 2010. We had 10 teenager in attendance, the afternoon consisted of lunch, surf lessons, and a great time! This was a rewarding afternoon. UrbanSurf4kids director Wesley Stewart “To see the excitement from the kids is what it’s all about, can’t wait until the next one in May!”

Monthly Visit to Door of Faith Orphanage

- UrbanSurf4kids kicked off it’s canned food drive by going door to door! Our recent canned food drive was a huge success, we collected over 250 canned foods which where then delivered to Door of Faith Orphanage in La Mision,Baja on March 27th 2010.
