Wesley founded Urban Surf 4 Kids in 2009 with just an idea to serve foster youth and orphans through water sports. Starting our Florida Chapter in late 2015 opens up opportunities on the East Coast.

Matthew joined Urban Surf in December 2014 and found a labor of love serving foster youth in a capacity that includes US4K's event in-water safety, serving on the Board of Directors, fundraising and more.

Eric Johnson (pictured on left) is a licensed MFT who has volunteered with US4K since 2012. Eric works with foster families and group homes and provides support and mentoring to foster youth, and supports US4K surf camps as an instructor and in fund raising.

Louise Zavala is a licensed MFT, who has volunteered with US4K since 2009. Louise and her husband, Sal, adopted their son Mikey during a Dreaming of Aloha trip.

Jordan began volunteering with Urban Surf in the beginning of 2016 and has since taken on responsibilities of fundraising for our organization. Jordan is passionate about serving in and out of the water and is working hard to sustain, grow and empower US4K’s mission to ensure our programs are accessible to all foster youth in need of an Ohana.
